Elon Musk calls himself ‘fan of Narendra Modi’, says Tesla to invest in India

During his three-day visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Twitter CEO Elon Musk in New York. Elon Musk declared himself a “fan of Modi” during the meeting and revealed that Tesla would invest in India.

From the India Today News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Twitter owner Elon Musk on Tuesday in New York. The Prime Minister is in America for three days. Elon Musk expressed his intention to visit India after meeting PM Modi and promised to do so in 2019.

As he lauded Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Musk also referred to himself as a “Modi fan”. “I am extremely optimistic about India’s future. I believe India has more potential than any other important country in the world,” he declared at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel.

“I can tell he really wants to do good for India. He wants to welcome and encourage budding businesses. I support Modi,” he continued. Tesla CEO describes his meeting with PM Modi as “excellent”.

According to Elon Musk in an exclusive conversation with India Today News Director Rahul Kanwal, the famous electric vehicle (EV) company Tesla will soon invest in India. He added that he had earlier requested additional incentives for investment in the country.

According to a tweet by PM Modi during the meeting, they discussed a variety of topics from energy to spirituality.

Contribution to India

Elon Musk replied, “He (PM Modi) really cares about India because he is pushing us to make big investments in India, which is something we intend to do when we meet him.” Asked about important steps. The best timing is still being determined.”

Additionally, he said he wanted to introduce Starlink, a SpaceX broadband internet service, in India. Musk claimed that this could benefit people in remote areas without internet connectivity.

PM Modi’s US visit

PM Modi will be in the country from June 21 to 24 at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

He plans to meet about two dozen influential thinkers including Nobel laureates, economists, artists, scientists, intellectuals, business owners, academicians and health sector professionals.
